About Me

Like many of my generation, I got my start in photography with the "Instamatic"-type cameras (remember those "flash cubes"?) My first serious camera was my Dad's Minolta SR-T 101. That trusty Minolta, which I still use, took me through a stint as high school yearbook photographer (mostly football games, group pictures for various clubs, and candid shots around campus), and well into adulthood.

Later I made the jump to Nikon, where I have been ever since. My main camera today is a D750.

Finalist, 2014 Dallas Morning News Amateur Photographer of the Year.
